NOTEX 2026/1

Luftfartstilsynet publiserer meldinger i form av Aeronautical Information Circular (AIP)i to serier: AIC N for meldinger til norske aktører og AIC I for meldinger til internasjonale aktører. Disse meldingene inneholder informasjon som ikke har et innhold som gjør det nødvendig å publisere NOTAM eller oppdatering av Aeronautical Information Publication (AIP), men som inneholder tema knyttet til flysikkerhet, navigasjon, eller tekniske, administrative og juridiske forhold.

Fra og med desember 2025 publiseres AIC-er i AIC-portalen til Avinor. Oversikten over AIC-er som i dag finnes på Luftfartstilsynets nettsider vil ikke lenger bli oppdatert. AIC-er som i dag er publisert her vil etter hvert flyttes til Avinors AIC-portal.

I forbindelse med overgang til ny publiseringsrutine vil Luftfartstilsynet informere om AIC I 09/2025 som er relevant for kontrollanter. AIC-en er publisert som AIC I på norsk og engelsk. Den presiserer praksis som gjelder obligatoriske øvelser ved gjennomføring av skill test og PC. Luftfartstilsynet ber alle kontrollanter gjøre seg kjent med innholdet i AIC-en.

New Publication Platform for AICs

The Civil Aviation Authority disseminates communications in the form of Aeronautical Information Circulars (AICs)  categorized into two series: AIC N for designated for Norwegian stakeholders, and AIC I, designated for international stakeholders. The communications convey information that does not necessitate publication as a Notice To Air Mission (NOTAM) or an update to the Aeronautical Information Publication (AIP), but which pertains to flight safety, navigation, or technical, administrative, and legal matters.

Effective December 2025, AICs will be published via Avinor’s AIC portal. Consequently, the current overview of AICs available on the Civil Aviation Authority’s website will no longer be maintained or updated. However, existing AICs published on that platform will progressively be migrated to Avinor’s AIC portal.

In conjunction with the transition, the Civil Aviation Authority wishes to highlight AIC I 09/2025, which is particularly relevant for examiners. This circular has been published in Norwegian and English, and it clarifies the practices (procedures) that apply to mandatory exercises conducted/performed during skill tests and proficiency checks (PC). The Civil Aviation Authority kindly requests all examiners to review and familiarize themselves with the contents of this AIC.
