Implementation of Regulation (EC) No 73/2010, amended by Regulation (EU) No 1029/2014 (ADQ) into Norwegian law
The Commission of the European Union has adopted Regulation (EU) No 73/2010 of 26 January 2010 laying down requirements on the quality of aeronautical data and aeronautical information for the Single European sky (SES). This Regulation (ADQ) lays down the requirements on the quality of aeronautical data and aeronautical information in terms of accuracy, resolution and integrity, and was amended by Regulation (EU) No 1029/2014.
15th March 2016, the Norwegian Parliament gave its consent to the EEA Joint Committee decision to amend the EEA Agreement by incorporating Regulation (EC) No. 73/2010 and Regulation (EC) 1029/2014 in Norwegian law.
At Svalbard, the provisions for terrain and obstacle data according to ADQ Regulation's Article 2. 1 letter b, c and d are only made applicable for Svalbard Airport, Longyearbyen. Article 2.1 letter a will apply to the entire Svalbard (AIP in general).
Regulation (EC) No. 73/2010 and Regulation (EC) 1029/2014 are implemented in Norwegian law by amending the Norwegian Regulation of 14 May 2007 no. 513 on the interoperability of the European Network for Air Traffic Management (Interoperability Regulation), and will be published in BSL G 1-2.
The Norwegian Regulation was adopted on 28 April 2016, and shall enter into force on 1 June 2016.
